The French title is "En-haut et en-bas" or "Top and Bottom,"or "High and Low." Each page is a print of Kolar's typogrammes from the 1960's. The pages are cut so that a portion of typing from the following pages become an important part of the composition. Kolar created new configurations with the typewriter that were known as "creations plastiques." Jonathan Hunt Brannen, age 63, of St. Paul, MN, passed away suddenly on November 5, 2013. Jonathan was first and always a writer, although his creative spirit spilled over into everything he did. He authored eleven volumes of poetry, including Deaccessioned Landscapes (Chax Press, 2005) and five volumes of visual literature. This book documents the correspondence between Hamady and Wilde in the form of repoducing 1159 letters reset in type. The two corresponents address themselves in profanity-laced salutations throughout their humorous letters to each other. It is the in the ninth book collaboration between Hamady and Wilde from 1971 and 2000. Hamady writes of the correspondence, "As a segmented evolution, with no determined destination other than the voyage itself, this text and what it represents, could, conceivably, cause a certain difficult affliction to those who preacertain a preference for plot or conclusion...Also the many aliases usually forged from specificities in the lacunae of text will obfusk the identity of who wrote what.
